Safety Tips for using Moonwalks/Inflatables

It is important that all children follow all the rules when using a moonwalk/slide inflatable
to ensure your children remain safe. Units must be supervised by an adult over the age
of 18 to whom can make good judgement pertaining to safety.

1. Moonwalk/Inflatables must be under Adult 18 yrs. or older supervision at all times.
2. Please leave all personal items outside of the moonwalk/inflatables.
3. Exit the moonwalk in case of bad weather, high winds or inflatable begins to deflate.
4. Avoid unnecessary horseplay and dangerous behavior.
5. Individuals with health concerns should not use moonwalks/inflatables ( Please consult
with your doctor/physician).
6. If pregnant you should not use moonwalks/inflatables or waterslides without
consulting your physician/doctor.
7. If anyone is impaired or disable, you should consult with your doctor/physician before
entering any unit.
Adults should not jump inside unit with children. May cause serious injury to children.
9. Only compatible age groups and size should play on the jump/Slides unit at the same
10. If you are under a controlled substance or alcohol, you should not enter any unit.
11. Units must be supervised by an adult 18 yrs or older who is not under any controlled
substance or alcohol.
12. If bad weather conditions occur after unit has been set up, please remove everyone
from the unit and deflate immediately. Winds over 15 miles per hr. can turn the unit over.
13. Jumpinjohns moonwalks in not responsible for any damage to grass, lawn,
vegetation, plants, flower gardens ect.. when using a water slide or any unit.
14. Always slide feet first on all units with an incline slide.
15. All units must be set up in a safe, flat grassy area.
16. No children under 4 yrs. old allowed in any unit.
17- Jumpinjohns Moonwalks is not responsible for a broken pipes that may occur when
anchoring down the unit. It is the customers responsibility to let us know if there are any
pipes where we set up any unit.
18. We can not and will not set up on streets.
19. If inflatable begins to deflate evacuate the unit. Check for disconnected extension
cords, check breakers and check the back of units to ensure tubes are tight and properly
If it starts to rain or lighting evacuate unit immediately and deflate.
Weather Conditions: If rain is in the forecast on your rental date we will contact you that
day to discuss your options.  We reserve the right to cancel any rental due to bad
weather condition.  Wet moonwalks become very slick and can cause serious injury.  
Moonwalks are not design to withstand winds over 15mph. Have everyone exit and
deflate the unit if it starts to rain or if wind exceeds 15mph.  

Hills/Stairs: Please contact us and we can set up a time to inspect the property before
the rental date to determine if it is possible to set up. We reserved the right to cancel
due to large hills, steps, slopes or stairs.  Moonwalks weigh approximately 210 pounds,
Combo slides approximately 350 pounds and slip n slide approximately 250 pounds.  
These units can be very difficult to transport up large hills and stairs.  Moonwalks can not
be setup in areas with a large slope, this can be dangerous for children exiting the
moonwalks and can cause injuries.

Notice to all our Customers:
All inflatables are fun and a great way to entertain your friends and family during your event. Please keep
in mind that they can also be dangerous when not following rules set by manufactures. Please read the
waiver that will be handed to you at time of delivery and follow all rules. As we have all seen on national
television, these inflatables can/will and do over turn and can fly off when hit with a gush of wind
exceeding 15 miles per hr. Adult over 18 years of age must supervise the inflatable at all time while unit
is inflated and in use. If winds exceed 15 miles per hr. or if you see the unit flapping or shaking too
much, remove everyone from inside the inflatable and deflate it immediately.
A few things from Jumpinjohns to keep in mind when renting a unit.
1- Please keep all dogs on a leash or inside the house while we are setting up the unit. We will not enter your yard with a loose
dog around.
2- If unit is kept over night, please turn off sprinkler system.
3- Please clean the area where you will be setting up your unit.
4- We can not set up on concrete.
5- All units need to be anchored down with 1 - 1.5 foot long anchors. Please check for sprinkler system pipes, plumbing pipes
and underground electrical wires before we show up. Once
customer gives us permission to anchor the unit, Jumpinjohns will not be responsible for any damages to any and not limited
to plumbing pipes, electrical wires or sprinkler pipes.
6- Some areas may be out of our delivery area.
7- Please do not allow anyone to bounce on the front outside step. This is very dangerous.
8- We require a minimum order of $75 dollars.

We will provide you with a rental agreement upon delivery. By signing the rental agreement, you agree that you have read the
online safety rules and guidelines. You must adhere to these rules. Injuries or accidents are very rare, but generally they are the
result of a lack of supervision or inappropriate use. Safety First!. Children’s safety depends on the presence of an adult over 18
years old. Keep age and size of groups compatible.  NO SOMERSAULTS, ROUGH HORSEPLAY, AND FLIPS. NO SHOES,
FOOD, DRINKS, SHARP OBJECTS OR SILLY STRING ALLOWED in the moonwalk. Individuals with head, neck, back or other
muscular skeletal injuries or disabilities, pregnant women, small infants and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls,
bumps or bouncing are not permitted on or in the unit at any time. Absolutely no pets are allowed on or by the unit at anytime.
Keep riders from putting netting in their mouths. No Food, drinks, gum, candy, confetti, face paint or trash in or around the
inflatable. Do not allow any silly string in or around the inflatable, it will damage the unit. No one is allowed on the ride while it is
being inflated or deflated. Do not allow anyone to put fingers/hands or any objects in to the fan intake motor, motor housing or
outlet when running. Inspect the inflatable before each use. Adult Operator should be present at the climbing area to help
climbers or remove those who are not capable of climbing. Only one person per lane on obstacle courses and slides. Do not
use the slide walls to slow yourself down on slides. Slide down seated, legs together going feet first on any sliding
area. The landing area of a slide must be clear before the next person begins to slide down. Do Not start sliding until the
landing area is clear of all other riders. Exit the slide immediately after stopping
in the landing area. Do not climb back up the slide from the sliding area. Use only the designated steps to climb up the top
platform. Parents/Guardians may not hold or accompany the rider while sliding. If the unit includes a pool, the pool must be
filled with water before riders can begin sliding. I agree to turn off and deflate the unit If wind becomes excessive (15 mph or
more), unload occupants and deflate the ride. I agree to turn off and deflate the unit if there is lighting or thunder due to severe
weather. This is a partial of the lease agreement. We will provide you with a copy of the original lease upon delivery. Please fully
read, sign and initial and return the copy to us. Feel free to ask us any questions regarding the lease agreement. Thanks for

Cancellation Policy:
You can reserve any rental at any time. No deposit required. Payment can be made by cash or check upon delivery. You can
cancel at any time. There are no cancellation fees. Once we deliver and set up the moonwalk there are no rain checks or
refunds. We reserve the right to cancel any rental in the event of severe weather. Safety is our number one priority and we take
